These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Proof of Age application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service helps users prove they meet an age requirement using World ID zero-knowledge proofs. It does not verify identity, and it is not a government ID, financial product, or legal certification.

Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and you meet the minimum age required by the destination app or website you are trying to access. Do not use the Service to misrepresent your age.

The Service

The Service supports two environments:

  • World App Mini App using native World ID verification.
  • Web App using a World ID verification flow with QR scan.

Verification results are based on World ID signals and the configured verification level. We do not guarantee acceptance by any relying party, and they may impose additional requirements.

Shareable Proof Links

The Service may generate a shareable link that encodes an age-range claim and a timestamp. Anyone with the link can view it. You are responsible for where and with whom you share it. These links are not a substitute for an identity check and can be rejected by the recipient.

User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information during verification.
  • Keep your device secure and do not share verification credentials improperly.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and age restrictions.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent security or verification controls.

Prohibited Use

  • Using the Service to access age-restricted content unlawfully.
  • Reverse engineering, interfering with, or abusing the Service.
  • Using automated systems to exploit or scrape the Service.
  • Misrepresenting your age or the validity of a proof.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on World ID and related SDKs and APIs. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, excluding third-party trademarks, are owned by the Service operator and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues arising from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service operator from any claims or liabilities arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required to do so by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when changes were made. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
